Luccock Park Camp Policies and Rates

Reservations:
Reservations are made on a first call, first reserve basis.  Reservations are penciled in but are not confirmed until a deposit is received.  Reservations may be made up to two years in advance. 

The use of Luccock Park carries a minimum guarantee. User groups will be billed for the actual number of people in camp, or 90% of the minimum guarantee, whichever is greater. For example: reservations made for 100 people will be billed for 90 people if less than 90 show up or actual number as in 94 or 106 campers.  You will be contacted seven (7) days prior to your arrival date to confirm your final count.

Groups will be assigned cabins appropriate for their size and needs. 

Deposits:
A deposit of $250 is required to reserve your camp date, unless otherwise arranged with camp manager. The camp deposit must be paid by the agreed confirmation date, or your camp date may not be reserved. 

Cancellations:
In the event you find it necessary to cancel your camp date, you must contact the Camp Manager.  If you cancel 60 or more days in advance of your scheduled arrival date, your deposit will be returned less a $100 administrative charge.  If you cancel 59 - 14 days in advance of your scheduled arrival date, your deposit will not be returned.  If you cancel less than two weeks before your arrival date, you will be required to pay for 90% of your contracted camper numbers. 

Check-in/Check-out times
Check-in time is 4:00 PM (not earlier to allow for cleaning.).  For our mutual benefit, a mandatory walk-thru and information exchange will be done by a staff person and you prior to check-in.

Check-out time is 1:30 PM. Sharp!  Our staff has only 2 1/2 hours to perform their duties between departures and arrivals.  Camps will be charged $25.00 per half-hour for late check-out.

Deviation of arrival and departure times other than those stated above must be discussed with and approved by the camp manager. 

What to bring:
Campers are responsible for bringing their own bedding ( usually a sleeping bag and pillow), towels, flashlight, water bottle, and other personal items. All cabins are equipped with bunk beds and mattresses. Weather conditions at Luccock Park are varied and subject to sudden changes. Guests are advised to bring clothing suitable for hot, cool, sunny, and rainy weather. 

Meals:
Luccock Park will provide meals in the dining hall for the camper numbers as specified on the contract.   Special dietary needs will be met, if possible, but MUST be indicated 10 days prior to your arrival.  Meal times are as follows: Breakfast - 8:00 a.m., Lunch - noon, Dinner - 5:30 p.m.  For groups taking a day trip/hike, a sack lunch can be provided with 24 hours notice requested.   Deviation of these meal times must be discussed with and approved by the camp manager 10 days prior to your arrival.    

Supervision of Youth Groups:
Youth Groups must have responsible adult leadership of not less than 1 adult per 10 youth.

Medical Services:
Luccock Park does not provide health or medical services. Your group is responsible for bringing first aid supplies, medical personnel, and for providing emergency transportation. The nearest medical facilities are located in Livingston, MT.  

Insurance:
All groups using Luccock Park must provide their own medical, accident, and liability insurance. Your group agrees to hold Luccock Park United Methodist Camp, Inc. harmless for any injuries to campers, or for loss of, damage to, or theft of personal property belonging to your group or its members.

Alcohol / Smoking / Firearms / Fireworks:
Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are not permitted within camp boundaries at any time. Possession or use of these items will result in your immediate removal, without refund. 

Smoking, for those of legal age, must be confined to the areas designated by the Camp Manager.  At no time is smoking permitted in the cabins, shower buildings, kitchen/rec/dining hall.

Luccock Park is located in the Gallatin National Forest. Therefore, fireworks and firearms are prohibited.   Possession or use of firearms will result in your immediate removal, without refund.

Campfires:
Two large campfire rings are provided at the camp and most cabins have fireplaces or wood stoves.  A limited supply of cut wood is available.  Fires in other areas are not permitted.  The camp will comply with Forest Service requests for ban on fires during dry conditions.

Parking:  Other than arrival/departure loading and unloading, moving of equipment, handicapped individuals or emergencies, all vehicles will remain parked in the area designated by the camp manager.  Groups or individuals who do not observe this rule may be required to leave the camp.

Pets:
Pets are not allowed in the camp.  Some exceptions may be made with prior approval of the camp manager.

Quiet Time:
Unless otherwise agreed upon with manager, all campers will observe quiet hours from 11 pm to 7 am.  The Camp Manager reserves the right to regulate the use of music and sound equipment. Groups or individuals who refuse or neglect this rule may be required to leave the camp.

Damage / Loss of Property:
Accidents or breakage must be reported to the Camp Manager.  Campers are responsible to pay for damage and labor costs due to abuse or negligence of camp property.

Lost and Found:
Campers are responsible for removal of all their property. Anything found will be held for 90 days. Please report any missing items promptly.  Postage for the return of lost items is the responsibility of the camper.  After 90 days the items become property of Luccock Park.

Please respect the rights and property of other campers, Luccock Park Camp, our adjoining national forest, our surrounding landowners and our private cabin owners. We all share this beautiful camp together.  


Rates for 2007

Overnight rates include lodging in cabin and 3 meals in dining hall.  Typically this is dinner the first night, breakfast and lunch the next day, with departure at 1:30 on final day.

Adults - (12 years and older) -  $38 per day   ($35 for repeat groups)
Children - (4-11 years) - $20 per day  ($18 for repeat groups)
Children (3 and younger) - No charge

Tents - $15/unit/day
There are limited spaces available (on first come basis) for tents, campers, and motor homes..   

Drop-in overnight lodging (bunk in cabin/ no meals)  $15/person/night.
Showers only - $4

Meals, if purchased separately,  $6 for breakfast, $7.50 for lunch, $9 for dinner.   Early notice is requested.
